Founded in 2010 by Mr. Otmar Fichter, the company focuses on the development, construction, and sale of molding machines. Since then, Fichter formtec has stood for precise manufacturing, collaborative partnerships, and the highest quality standards. As an owner-managed company, we combine technical expertise with decades of experience in the forming techniques of pressing, roll forming, rotary swaging, and cutting. Our focus is on tailor-made solutions – reliable, efficient, and individual.

Our Management
Since 2017, Fichter formtec GmbH has been under the leadership of Pascal Spöri (right in the picture) and Florian Eckerle (left in the picture). Both have been part of the company since 2015 and actively helped shape the handover by Mr. Fichter. With their experience, commitment, and a clear division of responsibilities, they are successfully leading the company into the future.
Pascal Spöri is responsible for the areas of technology, production, and software programming. With his technical know-how and his focus on modern, digital solutions, he ensures efficient processes and future-oriented manufacturing.
Florian Eckerle heads the areas of sales and development. With his feel for market trends and customer needs, he develops innovative solutions and actively drives the further development of our product portfolio.
Together, we stand for reliability, quality, and progress. We combine many years of experience with fresh ideas – and are committed every day to offering our customers tailor-made and technically sophisticated solutions.

New milestone in our production: The FS 840 Connect surface grinding machine from Geibel and Hotz
In modern manufacturing, the ability to create precise and uniform surfaces is essential. Surface grinding is a crucial process in metalworking, in which workpieces are machined by grinding on a flat surface. This method not only enables exact dimensioning but also excellent surface quality. However, in order to achieve the required tolerances and surface qualities, high-quality machines are necessary that guarantee extreme accuracy and reliability.

The future of electromobility – new technologies
Due to the major environmental issues of recent years, and not least due to various “emissions scandals”, the need for an alternative to the internal combustion engine has risen continuously. Therefore, it is not surprising that more and more cars and bicycles are already electrically powered today. However, such technologies are not only used on a “small” scale; in the future, trucks are also to be equipped with electric drives.
